Denial of the originating situation can be the reason why sometimes it is not easy for a professional to determine the cause; getting help is the first step in solving the problem.

Although around for a long time, it is well known that manic depression or bipolar as it is also known can be hard to diagnose; it take many years to diagnose owing to the type of symptoms displayed and the other various types whose category the person may also fall into.
