These techniques are easy and quick to do and they are simple enough for anyone to learn. This is one of the most widely accepted and practiced methods to heal and relieve stress by all cultures and religions.  You can focus on an object or thought and then turn your thoughts inwards so that you feel the calm flowing through you and helping you feel peaceful inside.</p>
<p> All-in-all, there are several different techniques that can be used along with the aid of listening to mediation music or the aid of chanting. The focus could be on some object close by or you could focus on the breaths that you take as they go in and out of your body. Irrespective of the approach used, you need a silent and peaceful environment to practice it besides a regular uninterrupted time on your daily schedule. Choose the place, choose the chant or object you want to focus on and then find a comfortable position - not lying down which could have you falling asleep in that relaxed state. Done right, this gets you into a detached state even though you are aware of what is going on around you - this is a relaxed rather trance-like state. Generally people experience the limited Alpha State.  In the two deeper states, however, the mind becomes progressively more tranquil and still.</p>
<p> Though it is Buddhism that comes to mind when we think of meditation, most religions include it as a part of their religious practices in some form or the other. Buddhism uses it in order to focus and direct one&#039;s mental path to get to the point of enlightenment. Although it can be performed in any position including standing, sitting, walking or lying down, the sitting position or &#039;zazen&#039;, is the most recommended.</p>
<p> The benefits of meditation have been researched and put down in a study by Harvard professor, Herbert Benson. The studies that have been conducted have shown that even twenty minutes can really help to reduce your blood pressure, your breathing and heart rates, slow the metabolism and reduce the muscle tension. Entering into the deeper states sometimes bring on colorful swirls and pictures as well as hearing voices inside of you. Studies have been done to prove the efficacy of meditation in relieving stress-related illnesses as well as pain and mental diseases like depression. As this practice leads to happier, healthier and greater self-awareness, other advantages begin to ensue including, higher intuition, enhanced mental functioning, and access to unconscious abilities and resources. Meditation has been used through the ages as a means to attain better spiritual planes but today it is finding a great use to manage the stress and tensions that abound in the modern world. It is a fairly simple game to understand, however what stops most of us from ever becoming masters of tennis is the physical aspects! You can adopt some effective technique to overcome the feelings of losing out when you are behind in a competitive tournament.  Learning the rules of the game is good since it enables you to understand it better the next time you attend a match or watch it on TV.  </p>
<p> The first thing you should know is, the court that is being used must be a regulations court. The size and maintenance that are observed will make sure that the players position on the court will have no impact whatsoever on the outcome of the match. The net will be placed in the middle and two service lines will run parallel to that. The baseline is located at the external edge of the court; it is a parallel line on each side of the net. The players will position themselves here to start the competition.</p>
<p> There will be lines that run along the sides of the court that determines the boundaries of the game, which is referred to as the alley. The next thing you should know is the difference between singles and doubles.  When a ball strikes the alley throughout a singles game, it is considered out. The use of the alley is possible in doubles game without getting a penalty.  There is a big difference in how the overall result will be between the singles and the doubles match. This is a game that needs two players, and one will serve the ball.  In order for a successful serve to occur, you need to serve the ball to the other side and hit the service box.</p>
<p> On the left hand side of the court for each player, there is a small box which is referred to as the service box. You need to hit this box to make a successful serve. All successful serves must hit this service box and bounce off well to be considered valid. The serve that does not fulfill this requirement must be repeated. </p>
<p> When the ball has successfully been served and bounced off the service box, then comes the most exciting heart stopping action of the entire game. The ball will now have to be hit back and forth until one of the players fail to return it.  To score points, ensure you can return the ball every time it comes across and do not hit the alley if it is a singles tennis. Your rival will get a point every time you fail to hit the ball back or if your ball hits the alley on the other side.</p>
<p> Every time the ball is missed, the player will take turns to serve it.  Both players will have the chance to serve equally.  This has been a very brief introduction of how tennis is being played. </P>

For example, success is more probable when you have an open mind with some self confidence rather than an attitude or lack of self confidence. You could use the same principles in a game of tennis where things may look rather complicated in the beginning. But with some patience and self confidence things could be better managed. Self confidence is something that can come between success and failure in this game. The way your performance would end up depends a lot on your personal approach. Many things can be done to improve on this area, so that you experience the best game of tennis all the time.</p>
<p> Approach the sport with an open mind and embrace it.   What happens when you make half hearted attempts at tennis? Your chance of succeeding reduces while your susceptibility to injury increases and you start hating the game.  It does not matter for how long you have played the game but if your approach is positively inclined that you can expect success. Anyone in a bad mood can not play a good game. In stead someone who plays the game with a good mood and right mental outlook would enjoy a better game.</p>
<p> Mistakes should not worry you as making them is part of any game. Even pros make mistakes on the field. Take them as opportunities for learning more about the game. If you discover that you are making a mistake in your timing for swinging the racquet, take that as a chance to improve your timing.   For an overall improvement in your outlook, you need to treat every mistake as an opportunity to correct and learn more. If this helps in giving you any consolation, remember every tennis player, even the best of them can play bad, make mistakes and wish to leave the court.</p>
<p> Anyone who plays for a long time, should also learn to avoid burn outs. Of course this can happen to any hobby, sport, job or activity. Burn out is the logical consequence if you only play tennis and do not do anything else. In stead of burning out like this, you could indulge in some other activities like shopping, hanging out with friends, or being the couch potato and watch TV. This energizes your mind and you can play tennis with a fresh approach. Spending quality time outside the court can be as valuable as that within the court.</p>
<p> It is important to remember that every player plays according to his own typical style. Thus, the style which your tennis coach practices may not be the right choice of style for you. Of course you would pay heed to the advice of your coach. However ensure that you do what suits you best. Take the example of your racquet, shoes and attire, these should be used according to your fitting needs and not because your coach uses them. If you take the time to do things your own style, you will be able to really develop your skills.   Though emulation is the height of admiration, never emulate another player not oven your coach.</p>

When a person experiences sickness or injury the chi gets blocked and positive energy stops flowing. <p> When acupressure or special needles are used at certain locations along all of the meridians, they in turn release all of the blockages by stimulating the chi that is trapped. This can be compared to a river blocked with debris; removing the blocking debris allows the river to freely flow without obstruction.  Chi may also flow either too quickly or too slowly, in which case acupuncture is used to regulate the stream of energy.</p>
<p> The needles used were found by archaeologists in the digs of the Shang Dynasty which dates back to 1000 BC; for the past four thousand years the Chinese have been practicing this as a form of medicine.  Three schools of acupuncture exist today, these being the Traditional Yin/Yang Theory, The Five Elements and the Western or Medical Acupuncture. Though the diagnostic approach used by all the three methods is similar, the causes attributed to the illness and the treatment of the illness varies from one method to the other. </p>
<p> Chinese medicine believes that any form of physical illness is the outcome of stress and anxiety; the five element acupuncture also follows the same belief - the physical well being of a person is dependent on his psychological well being. Following along with all of this, the physical symptoms are only able to be alleviated when all of that inner stress has been dealt with. Although five elements method may help curing a person completely from his physical aliments it is a slow and gradual process because it begins by treating the fundamental causes of the ailment. The overall balance of Yin and Yang in the human body is what the Traditional Yin/Yang theory focuses on. Simultaneous stimulation of more than one element is achieved by stimulating the different acupuncture points on different meridians together. </p>
<p> Western Acupuncture tends to focus on urgent, short-term treatment, combining Eastern and Western medical techniques. Among the two categories of medical benefits of Acupuncture, the first type, Anesthetic Acupuncture, finds its place in surgeries and dental procedures. Eczema treatment is often tacked initially by drugs that stop someone from itching which then in turn reduces the situation worsening by scratching. However, dermatitis severely dries out the skin, and keeping the affected area moistened, moisturizing creams and lotions are used and can promote healing and retain natural moisture. </p>
<p> Normally, moisturizing and re-hydrating the skin are just a couple of important considerations and anything causes the skin to lose any of its natural oils, should be stopped. Moistening agents are called emollients and the rule for their use is to match the thicker ointments to the driest, flakiest skin. Although studies aren&#039;t conclusive, there is a connection between food allergies and the dietary habits of Eczema victims. It may be some time before the results of these studies are complete but for a proportion of Eczema victims, this must be good news as they may be able to control their Eczema by avoiding certain foodstuffs. Some of the food groups that have been associated with Eczema are; wheat and maize, eggs, dairy products, coffee and Soya but this does depend on the individual.</p>
<p> Non-conventional medical approaches to eczema treatment include traditional herbal medicine and alternative therapies. Your skin specialist or allergy therapist should be informed if you decide to go ahead with either of these options. There are a number of different treatment options possible with these two non-conventional therapies but still no guarantees. Eczema can mean that the problem areas of skin allow bacteria to infect the system; so antibiotics are used to help alleviate this problem as well as cure the condition.</p>
<p> To make matters worse, the Eczema sufferer can cause this problem themselves by constant scratching. This can escalate the infection which causes further problems until the necessary antibiotic is administered. A more recent form of Eczema treatment is the use of light, normally UVA but often UVB and Narrow band UVB can also help on occasion. However ultraviolet light exposure carries its own risks, particularly eventual skin cancer from exposure. It is advisable that you get to know the rules of the game so that you will understand it the next time you watch it.</p>
<p> The court that is currently being used must be a regulations court. This ensures that the size and maintenance is standard and therefore does not affect the position of a player on the court as far as winning is concerned. There will be a net placed in the middle and two service lines placed in the middle.  The baseline, which is a line running parallel to the net, located on the outer edge of the court.  The players will position themselves here to start the competition.</p>
<p> The lines that mark the outer edges on both sides, vertical to the net is called the alley. So, what is the difference between singles and doubles? In the singles game, when a ball hits the alley it is considered out! Interestingly, the alley can be used without incurring a penalty in a doubles tennis game. Amazingly, this small difference in ruling causes a massive variation between the single and doubles match and how they result. Tennis is a two player game and one will serve the ball. To make a successful serve, you need to serve the ball to the other side and hit the service box.</p>
<p> What is the service box? It is a small box located at the right hand side of each player  This is the box that must be hit every time a serve is made. In fact, the ball must not only hit this service box, but must bounce off at least once for it to be considered a successful serve.  Else, the serve needs to be repeated.</p>
<p> When the ball has successfully been served and bounced off the service box, then comes the most exciting heart stopping action of the entire game. Now comes the most difficult part, where each player as to hit the ball back and forth until one of them fails to hit it back across. To score points, then ensure that the ball is returned back every time it crosses the net and does not accidentally hit the alley when you send it to the other side. Whenever you fail to return the ball, your opponent wins a point.</p>
<p> For every missed ball, the players will take turns to serve it. This way both parties will have the serve equally. This article shows you how tennis is being played.</P>

Things may look extremely complicated. But with a bit patience and self confidence, things can become manageable. You must have self confidence in your approach to the game. Otherwise you would fail. What is the deciding factor of your final performance? Your personal approach towards it and there is a great deal which can be done to improve this area so that you could really get the best out of the game.</p>
<p> Approach the sport with an open mind and embrace it.   If you make partial attempts, then you can never dream of any tennis success. Instead you would open up chances of injuries and start wondering why on earth did you pick up the racquet? It does not matter for how long you have played the game but if your approach is positively inclined that you can expect success. Anyone in a bad mood can not play a good game. This treatment heals while keeping the body healthy and stress free; the procedure involves inserting fine needles within the skin on predetermined points or meridians, considered energy pathways similar to acupressure. Where good health exists, this energy, (called chi or qi) flows freely through these meridian channels but when disease or injury occurs; chi becomes blocked and does not flow. There are a total of 365 different acupuncture points scattered across the exterior surface of the body, these follow the paths of 14 main meridians.</p>
<p> When acupressure or special needles are used at certain locations along all of the meridians, they in turn release all of the blockages by stimulating the chi that is trapped. Imagine removing obstacles blocking a river so that it can flow freely again. Also used to regulate the speed of the chi flow, acupuncture aids the optimum flow levels, should the chi energy flows too fast or too slow. </p>
<p> This form of medicine has been practiced in China for at least 4,000 years, with these needles found in archaeology digs of the late Shang Dynasty (c.1000 BC). The three types of acupuncture methods are the Five Elements method, Yin/Yang Theory and Medical or Western Acupuncture.  All three use similar diagnostic methods and the same system of points, but they take a different approach to the underlying causes of an illness and its treatment.</p>
<p> The basis of five element acupuncture is the five element cycle seen in Chinese medicine; the underlying belief is that an illness can be due to a physical cause or emotional stress.  The emotional stress and anxiety that a person experiences must be first dealt with in order to ease the physical pain. Since the main emphasis within the five elements theory focuses on treating an illness&#039;s underlying cause, one should realize that it can be a very slow process in order to reach a complete recovery even though it is quite possible. The overall balance of Yin and Yang in the human body is what the Traditional Yin/Yang theory focuses on. Combinations of the different acupuncture points on the meridians are simultaneously stimulated so that more than one element is affected.</p>
<p> Western Acupuncture tends to focus on urgent, short-term treatment, combining Eastern and Western medical techniques. Acupuncture is further divided into two classes, the first one being anesthetic acupuncture that is used by the dentists and during surgeries. Symptomatic or &#039;first aid&#039; is the second sub category; this is used mainly for temporary analgesic pain relieving.   Medical research by reputable groups indicate that a number of illnesses such as allergies, arthritis, asthma, depression, high blood pressure, infertility, gynecological problems and migraines can be effectively treated using this medicine.  However, similar to several of the medicines used for energy, it is most effective when it is used for treating persistent conditions that don&#039;t respond readily to conventional medicines, or when dealing with all of the disorders that are related to the lifestyle of that person.</p>

Although it does depend on the person afflicted, the foods that can cause Eczema are: coffee, nuts, eggs, dairy products, wheat and Soya.</p>
<p> Of course both alternative medicine and Chinese Traditional Medicine also have Eczema treatments. Your skin specialist or allergy therapist should be informed if you decide to go ahead with either of these options. It would be fair to say that there are probably more treatments available for the treatment of Eczema with these therapies than with conventional medicine but there is still no guarantees of their efficacy. The use of antibiotics for the treatment of Eczema has happened owing to the fact that open skin would allow the entry of harmful bacteria.</p>
<p> To make matters worse, the Eczema sufferer can cause this problem themselves by constant scratching. Any skin infection further irritates the skin and a rapid deterioration in the condition may ensue; the appropriate antibiotic should be given. Although it has mixed results, Ultraviolet light in the UVA spectrum is having a positive effect with treating the eczema of certain individuals. It would be foolish to consider this a long term Eczema therapy bearing in mind the problems associated with excessive UVA exposure on the skin. The main thing here is the fact that you need to be undisturbed so finding a quiet place is necessary. It is a fairly simple game to understand, however what stops most of us from ever becoming masters of tennis is the physical aspects! In a competitive game, there are some well-known tricks you can use to prevent the feeling of dismay when you are losing a game. It is good to have basic understanding of the game so that you will understand what exactly is going on. </p>
<p> The court that is currently being used must be a regulations court. This allows the match to be played fairly and does not depend on the player&#039;s position on the court.  The net must be in the center of the court and there must be a service line that runs parallel to the net. There will be two parallel lines running to the net on the outer edge of the court that is called the baseline. The players will position themselves here to start the competition.</p>
<p> The lines that mark the outer edges on both sides, vertical to the net is called the alley. The next thing you should know is the difference between singles and doubles.  In a singles game, the alley is considered out of bounds and causes a penalty when it is hit. It is permissible to use the alley in a doubles game. Therefore, you can see the vast difference just one simple rule change can have to the overall game.  Tennis is a two player game and one will serve the ball. To make a successful serve, you need to serve the ball to the other side and hit the service box.</p>
<p> What is the service box? It is a small box located at the right hand side of each player  This box must be hit every time a player makes a serve. A successful serve must reach the other end and hit the service box then bounce off at least once for it to be considered successful! The serve must be repeated if not successful.</p>
<p> When the ball has successfully been served and bounced off the service box, then comes the most exciting heart stopping action of the entire game. Now is the time where the skills and the endurance level of the players will be tested.  To score points, ensure you can return the ball every time it comes across and do not hit the alley if it is a singles tennis. Return the ball each and every time if you do not want your opponent to gain points. </p>
<p> Every time the ball is missed, the player will take turns to serve it.  This way both parties will have the serve equally. This article shows you how tennis is being played.</P>

However, success would fall on your lap if you have an open mind and some self confidence. The same principles can be applied to tennis as well. A complex situation can be managed with some patience and self confidence. However, if you do not approach the game with some self-confidence you are likely to fail.   Your personal approach is critical in ensuring your ultimate performance and success in the game. Many things can be done to improve this so that the game experience remains memorable.</p>
<p> Love the game and approach it with an open mind. Any half hearted attempt would only take you further from success. On the contrary, you would be prone to injuries and start hating tennis. When your approach to the game is positive, you are in a better position to succeed. It does not matter for how long you have played the game. Any player who plays with a good mood and a positive mindset is like to win rather than someone who is harboring some bad moods.</p>
<p> Remember making mistakes is natural and professionals too make them. Simply start to take mistakes as leaning opportunities. If you continue to make the mistakes when you have to move your racquet, take this as an opportunity to improve on your timing. The time that you spend away from the court in these circumstances can be just as valuable as the time you spend on the court.</p>
<p> The style of playing you are coached in may not be the best for you as every tennis player has his own style of playing. While it is perfectly alright to take coach advice, you also need to do what suits you most. Things like your racquet, shoes and clothing ought to fit you best. You would not like to use them simply because your coach feels comfortable in them. Your style is unique. Take time to nurture this. Your playing skills would develop simultaneously. Never think of imitating another player, not even your coach.</p>

It&#039;s like removing accumulated debris from a river so it can resume flowing freely.  Acupuncture regulates the flow of &#039;chi&#039; so it flows at a steady pace, not too fast and not too slow.</p>
<p> The needles used were found by archaeologists in the digs of the Shang Dynasty which dates back to 1000 BC; for the past four thousand years the Chinese have been practicing this as a form of medicine.  The three types of acupuncture methods are the Five Elements method, Yin/Yang Theory and Medical or Western Acupuncture.  Though the diagnostic approach used by all the three methods is similar, the causes attributed to the illness and the treatment of the illness varies from one method to the other. </p>
<p> The five elements acupuncture, being strictly based on Chinese medicine&#039;s five element cycle, believes or assumes that a particular illness is most likely to be caused by either a physical cause or emotional stress. Following on from this, physical symptoms can only be alleviated when those inner stresses are dealt with. Treatment of the underlying causes of illnesses in the five element treatment is a time consuming slow process to reach total recovery. The theory based on the traditional yin/yang theory mainly focuses on the restoring of overall balance of the yang and the yang within the body. In this type of acupuncture different points are pierced with the needles all along the meridians in order to help cure and affect different illnesses in your body.</p>
<p> Western Acupuncture has a tendency of focusing on the short-term, urgent treatment which combines Western and Eastern medical techniques. Out of the two sub categories, anesthetic acupuncture is the first and it is mostly used in surgical and dental procedures. Traditionally, eczema treatment using anti-itching drugs, often antihistamine, can reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage &#038; irritation to the skin. Even if this can be controlled, the skin is still dry so needs to be re-moisturized which can help the skin to heal.</p>
<p> Unfortunately there are a number of products that can actually dry the skin out and it is these that the Eczema patient must stop using as soon as possible. Very dry, flaky skin will use a thick ointment, called an emollient. Light emollients like aqueous cream may dry the skin if it is very flaky, so heavier ointment should be used. For non-severe Eczema cases, weaker steroids can be used in cream or ointment form; the likes of Hydrocortisone and Desonide corticosteroids but these eczema treatments while very effective do not cure the condition.</p>
<p> However, corticosteroids must be used sparingly to avoid possible side effects, the most common of which is when after prolonged use can cause the skin to thin and become fragile or atrophy. Although studies aren&#039;t conclusive, there is a connection between food allergies and the dietary habits of Eczema victims. This could be the breakthrough many Eczema victims have been waiting for once they have identified which foods are causing the flare-ups. Although it does depend on the person afflicted, the foods that can cause Eczema are: coffee, nuts, eggs, dairy products, wheat and Soya.</p>
<p> Other methods of treating Eczema also come in the form of Chinese Traditional Medicine and alternative therapy. Patients should inform their doctor, allergy consultant or dermatologist if they are pursuing one of these treatment routes.  These therapies also have a wide range of treatments available but will vary in effectiveness depending on the patient. Unfortunately the open wounds of some Eczema means that the body might be susceptible to bacterial entry and antibiotics are often used to help the condition.</p>

These very intense headaches can disable a person for days at a time if they do not take medication but three to four hours is the norm when treatment is given. Once the attack is over, the victim will still feel exhausted and not able to do much for some time.</p>
<p>There doesn&#039;t seem to be any regularity to the attacks either as one individual might have a number each month whilst another sufferer will only have an attack once a year. Some symptoms seem to be consistent with most victims; those of a feeling like those associated with cold or influenza and a problem with bright lights. Migraine is most prevalent in people between the ages of ten to forty years old; however, by the time someone reaches fifty, attacks almost never occur.</p>
<p>It is not uncommon for a number of family members to share a migraine headache problem and hereditary links are believed to exist; whilst genetic factors may be involved, this link has yet to be proved. One area that does seem to have a connection is the medical condition where the blood vessels in the head can become swollen. With this condition, women do not fare as well as men with a ratio of 3 to 1 suffering from the condition regularly; who are only likely to have an eight percent chance of ever suffering with the problem.</p>
<p>Before the migraine attack, some people have a distinct warning called an aura which usually precedes the headache from anywhere between ten to thirty minutes. The warning signs may include:</p>
<p>*Queasiness *Blinking or zigzagging lights *Sense of smell and taste is affected *Problems with speech</p>
<p>whilst there are many more symptoms, the list above contains those which are most prevalent. Some of these indications are symptoms felt by those who have the most common variant of the condition, migraines without aura; these victims have no warning, but the symptoms can also be intensified if they move to much.</p>
<p>The exact reason for having migraine is not clear and yet to be discovered but one assumption is that the blood vessels in areas of the brain become narrower which may be the explanation for the aura. It might be that it is the expansion of the blood vessels afterwards that causes the headache; however, all suffers say the attack knocks them out and they are unable to carry out even the most simple of daily tasks. There are many factors that can trigger an attack ranging from:</p>
<p>*Weather patterns *Certain food groups *Altitude *Drinks containing caffeine *Bright lights *Lack of sleep or food *Stress</p>
<p>It is therefore a good idea for the victim to see if there is a pattern to the attacks which could then make it easier to avoid them.</p>

It is a respiratory condition that affects people on a daily basis and is serious enough to cause death if not dealt with in time.</p>
<p>Keeping a constant check on their condition is the most important step for an asthma sufferer. Once the severity of the condition is know there are three main ways to treat it:</p>
<p>&lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Medications to prevent attacks&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Providing relief when an attack occurs&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Medical treatment for serious attacks&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; Fortunately for patients with only mild version of the condition, a Bronchodilator will be used to provide short term relief; for a number of asthmatics this may be the only treatment they ever require.</p>

The use of oral glucocorticoids is reserved for patients with a serious asthma condition. A standard reliever or &#039;Bronchodilator&#039; will still be used in addition to any other medication they may have prescribed. Asthmatics must also identify the triggers that cause the allergic reaction in them and find ways to reduce or eliminate them. The condition is very strongly associated with air pollution, which causes the condition to worsen in people who suffer breathing related conditions.</p>
<p>Although the specific medications can help the situation it is far better if they can be avoided where possible; long term problems like can be the result of continued use, for instance:</p>
<p>&lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt;Tiredness&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Dizziness&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Lack of sexual drive&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Depression&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;Damage to vital organs including the liver&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; Increasingly patients with respiratory conditions are opting for more natural remedies that do not have side-effects. These are formulated to treat the condition and not the effects. The drugs used contain a catalyst which is designed to soothe and reduce the hyperactivity experienced by the body during an attack and thereby, strengthening it.
