Natural Way of Fighting Diseases
Fighting cancer using natures help requires the use of antioxidants; substances found in many plants, fruits and vegetables. In plants these are called phytonutrients and are able to work together with our body's own nutrients to fight disease. Research into these fantastic compounds continues with over nine hundred compounds discovered already; with these discoveries (and more to come), scientists believe the face of healthcare is changing, hopefully forever. There have been a huge number of health benefits discovered so far from many well known foods; pomegranates for example, contain many different properties whilst blueberries have compounds which affect the aging process.
Containing less sugar than most fruits, the blueberry can also boast a number of other antioxidant properties too. Often the easiest way for people to take fruit is in juice form which are readily available all year round; this will help improve our healing ability and blood circulation. These can also strengthen the body's ability to fight disease and infection due to they're powerful antioxidants and healthy nutrients. Now the focus has shifted towards apples which have an effect on the probability of coronary diseases.
Lemons, limes and other citrus fruits to are proving to have many such phytochemical properties as well. The combination of phytonutrients in cherries is proving to have properties that can help sufferers of joint pain and fibromyalgia. We have all been informed of the essential health benefits of certain vitamins and minerals but these are being looked at in depth as well. Other types of antioxidants are found in mulberries, blackberries and blueberries, called resveratrol, Phytoalexins have anti-viral and anti-fungal properties.
Many aging conditions, including Alzheimer's, can be treated with some of these. The humble tomato has also been under scrutiny with benefits it has guarding against certain cancers and heart problems. However, it is now recognized that the best way to receive a sufficient quantity of the antioxidants contained in a tomato is by having it as a puree in a dish using tomato sauce or as a juice. The sweet, juicy watermelon is actually packed with some of the most important in phytonutrients in nature. Now you know the benefits of these fruits to your health, there is no longer any reason not to use them more regularly.
