Goodbye Menstrual Pains!

Life seems determined to constantly throw up new types of pain if you are woman. Even if you have irregular cycles, you can still get hit with menstrual cramps, though some women get them worse than others. For some it is because they have PCOS or endometriosis that the condition seems to be more severe and painful. Each woman experiences the pains differently with some hardly able to do anything during this period.

Whilst a number of remedies available claim they will give menstrual cramp relief, it is the reliability of these drugs that often causes a problem. Often the easiest way to help stop this is complaint to just take a pain relief tablet. The pain relief pill devised purely for this complaint and marketed heavily is Pamprin. Some women prefer to accept the pain every cycle rather than take any form of pain relief but are they doing themselves any good with this attitude?

Perhaps you feel that you're meant to experience this stomach pain but that isn't the case. The cramps aren't the only thing that has to be endured either; the feeling of having eaten too much and nausea can also be a problem. On a personal level, I was just tired of the cramping pains and decided to source an effective menstrual cramp relief solution. Another problem is the irregularity because some months it feels as if I am being given a bear hug and others where there is no discomfort at all.

Sometimes, my relief comes in the form of a heating pad which I normally use on my stomach, and other times it works best when placed on my back. This can be a good alternative to pain relief pills if you find they are ineffective or you just prefer not to take them. Whilst these ideas may be ok for some women, others that have regular painful menstrual cramps each month may need to do something more permanent. This is especially true if you find that you sometimes have to miss work because they are so bad which doesn't help your attendance record if it's a regular occurrence.

If this has happened to you, you should make an appointment to talk to your doctor about finding menstrual cramp relief. Your doctor may suggest using the contraceptive pill because he knows just how good it is at helping women who suffer each month with stomach cramps. Obviously this would be a stupid option if you are trying for a baby but there will be other remedies you doctor can prescribe to help the cramp you feel each cycle. It may take some trial and error but you will find a remedy eventually.

Oral Pills for Menstrual Pains

As a woman reaches that difficult stage in her life she may be forgiven in believing that her body is out to get her. Even if you have irregular cycles, you can still get hit with menstrual cramps, though some women get them worse than others. For some it is because they have PCOS or endometriosis that the condition seems to be more severe and painful. Each woman experiences the pains differently with some hardly able to do anything during this period.

If you suffer as badly as this you need to have a menstrual cramp relief remedy that you can rely on each month. The most obvious answer is to take one in pill form which also seems to be the most common method. A tablet by the name of ‘Pamprin' is used by many women who say it works wonders for them, possibly because it was formulated for just that one reason. Many women won't take any form of pain relief but if you are one of those women maybe it is time you started to think about it.

Nothing can take the wind out of your sails or put a dampener on your day like painful cramps. If the cramps aren't bad enough, women can also suffer with a bloated stomach and the sensation of queasiness too. On a personal level, I was just tired of the cramping pains and decided to source an effective menstrual cramp relief solution. There were times I thought my stomach was being crushed whilst others there was little discomfort at all!

I have tried all sorts including quite recently a heat pad which seems to work but I do have to vary where I position it for it to be effective. You may not have tried this for your problem before but it is well worth giving it a go particularly if you haven't had any success with pills. However, if you endure more painful menstrual cramps you may need to try something stronger. This is especially true if you find that you sometimes have to miss work because they are so bad which doesn't help your attendance record if it's a regular occurrence.

Of course you could try speaking to your doctor to see what thoughts he or she has on menstrual cramp relief remedies, especially if it causing you problems in addition to pain. A doctor will know of other options available to you including the birth control pill, if you are not already on it, which can help relieve the pains. Obviously this would be a stupid option if you are trying for a baby but there will be other remedies you doctor can prescribe to help the cramp you feel each cycle. It may take some trial and error but you will find a remedy eventually.
