The Right Way of Fat Removal

Another very popular cosmetic treatment to remove excess fat is liposuction; this normally works best for the thighs, bottom and stomach as it can treat this problem when some other methods fail. Unfortunately, an unwanted side effect to this procedure is the return of the fat on occasion; this is usually from a different area to the one it was removed from.

Tumescent and Ultrasonic are the two most commonly used methods although there are other lesser known techniques. The most popular of these two methods, Tumescent, is performed routinely now in the USA as a treatment for unwanted fat.

There is less bruising with this method which is an additional benefit from the use of a smaller tube. The Tumescent liposuction technique has proven to be safer than the standard method using general anesthesia but it also less painful and has minimized post operative recovery time.

Ultrasonic liposuction offers smoother results than traditional liposuction and it is more effective in treating the awkward, fibrous areas including the upper back.

The problem with the conventional treatment is the surgeon has trouble seeing where the probe is located in the body so it is possible for internal organs to be damaged if extreme care is not taken. The best advice when considering this course of treatment is to consult with the surgeon about the best and safest technique.

The liposuction procedure although relatively safe does carry some risk of side-effects but fortunately fatalities are very rare. Anyone considering this treatment will need to have a medical examination first to confirm they are in good physical health for the procedure to take place. Infections can occur after any surgery so some physicians prescribe an antibiotic to patients because of the importance of keeping wounds clean until they heal. Cosmetic surgery is improving all the time, so are the techniques to perform it and methods to avoid complications.

Lipo dissolve another type of liposuction involves a series of injections of a compounded mixture of drugs into areas of body fat: including saddlebags, double chins, hips and other hard to reach places. Of course the greatest benefit to patients undergoing this process is the fact that no form of anesthetic is required and it does not interfere with other cosmetic skin treatments where surgery is not required.
