Finding Menstrual Cramp Remedies
Women often get to a certain stage in their lives when they honestly believe that their bodies are against them. Which women will suffer with severe menstrual cramps and those who will not remains a mystery. Other contributing factors which can increase the problem are PCOS and also endometriosis both of which affect approximately 10 percent of women. There does not seem to be any reason for those who feel no menstrual discomfort and those who experience regular agonizing effects.
Relief from this pain is something many women search for but it needs to be consistent. The most obvious answer is to take one in pill form which also seems to be the most common method. A tablet by the name of ‘Pamprin' is used by many women who say it works wonders for them, possibly because it was formulated for just that one reason. Although many women prefer not to take any form of medication, this does you no credit if you cannot do anything for days each month.
Perhaps you feel that you're meant to experience this stomach pain but that isn't the case. Even worse still, the cramps are often combined with bloating and sometimes, queasiness as well. After a number of years of suffering I'd had enough and decided to find a menstrual cramp relief remedy to claim those days back every month. There doesn't seem to be any consistency about it either, most months I have an awful time and then the odd cycle that is completely pain free.
There are times when nothing seems to give me any relief but someone suggested I try a heat pad on my stomach which worked quite well although sometimes it works better against my back. If pills don't seem to touch the pain, this may be something you want to try for your discomfort. This may not be that effective for women that exhibit painful and disabling menstrual cramps each cycle: they might want something more powerful. Where this is causing a problem with attending work each cycle, you may forced into finding something to help before you find yourself seeking other employment
This situation really needs to be stopped as soon as possible so an appointment with your doctor to find another form of menstrual cramp relief would be a good idea. Don't worry if your doctor suggests trying the Pill because he knows just how many women have benefited from this as a remedy, or he might have a new treatment that you haven't considered. The discomfort you feel from your cramps might be a long term problem if you have planned to get pregnant but if this isn't the case then your doctor should be able to advise you if you are in any danger whilst on the Pill. Whatever methods you do eventually try good luck in your search.
