Lessening Women's Suffering
The menopause can be a trying time for most women as so many areas of their body's seems to be causing them physical and emotional distress. The whole world over, most women suffer with menstrual cramp to some greater or lesser degree, irrespective of how normal their cycle is. For some it is because they have PCOS or endometriosis that the condition seems to be more severe and painful. Each woman experiences the pains differently with some hardly able to do anything during this period.
There are a number of menstrual cramp relief remedies available but what women want is one that will stop the pain every month. One of the most common types of comes in the form of a pill and many women swear by it. Drug manufacturers were quick to formulate a remedy which most people know as Pamprin. Many women won't take any form of pain relief but if you are one of those women maybe it is time you started to think about it.
Why waste days of your life in pain when there is no need; think about all those things that you are stopped form doing. If the cramps aren't bad enough, women can also suffer with a bloated stomach and the sensation of queasiness too. Eventually I came to the conclusion that I would need to find a reliable menstrual cramp relief remedy to get rid of those pains each cycle. It was so inconsistent; many months there would be hardly any pain and then I would have a cycle where I thought I had someone squeezing me tightly for hours on end.
Recently I started using a heat pad which a friend suggested I try and has worked with some success at easing the discomfort although I do have to vary where I place it for effectiveness; sometimes on my stomach and other times on my back. This can be a good alternative to pain relief pills if you find they are ineffective or you just prefer not to take them. All this is ok if you do not have those menstrual cramps that disable you, in that event a more long term solution would probably be required. The problem really arises when time has to be taken form work; no employer likes this every month.
If this has happened to you, you should make an appointment to talk to your doctor about finding menstrual cramp relief. A doctor will know of other options available to you including the birth control pill, if you are not already on it, which can help relieve the pains. If you are trying to get pregnant this will obviously be out of the question but this is not the only remedy your doctor will discuss with you. Whatever methods you do eventually try good luck in your search.
